Event Date
Saturday, August 01, 2026 - 07:30 pmFolk music legend Noel Paul Stookey, known worldwide as a member of Peter, Paul and Mary, joins his daughter, poet A.S. Aubrey, on Aug. 1, for a unique evening of music, poetry, storytelling, and conversation at the Camden Opera House, 29 Elm St., Camden.
"Listening for the Notes: The Gift of Word & Song in Challenging Times" explores how listening can become a source of creativity, meaning, resilience, and connection.
Audiences will hear beloved songs including "Blowin' in the Wind," "Puff the Magic Dragon," and Stookey's "The Wedding Song," alongside Aubrey's original poetry. Together, father and daughter share stories of inspiration, creative practice, family, and the search for meaning during difficult times.
"More than a concert or poetry reading, 'Listening for the Notes' is an invitation into a heartfelt conversation about how art helps us navigate life's challenges with greater wisdom, humor, and hope," said a news release.
