The Library is the "third space" for Boothbay Region residents and visitors. Stop by for a warm hello, a comfortable seat to read the news, or to enjoy one of the Library’s many services:
- Community events from storytimes and author talks to festivals, parades, and lectures
- Over 22,000 items to borrow including popular fiction, literary classics, nonfiction, DVDs, children’s and teen materials, audiobooks, and periodicals
- Lending equipment including a telescope, GoPro cameras, and audio recorders
- Digital collections available 24/7 at www.bbhlibrary.org including e-books, audiobooks, comics, music, movies, news and research sources
- Public Computers, printing, and outgoing faxing
- Co-working space
- Art exhibits
- Digital Media workstation & software suite
- Discount museum pass program (Sponsored in part by the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, museums include: Boothbay Railway Village, Maine State Aquarium, Maine Maritime Museum, Maine State Parks, Farnsworth Museum, and the Portland Museum of Art.)
