Karen Curtis
Karen Curtis, 83, of Boothbay Harbor passed away peacefully at her home on June 18, 2026.
Karen was born on March 8, 1943 to Elmer and Miriam (Ridley) Goodrich in Sanford. She dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker, finding purpose and fulfillment in caring for her children and creating a home where everyone was loved.
She also enjoyed life’s little thrills, especially a lively game of bingo or a scratch card that promised the possibility of a win. Known for her extraordinary luck, she often walked away a winner.
She is survived by three children, son, Mark Provencal of Boothbay Harbor; daughter, Vicki and her husband David Rumney, their son, Ben and his wife Emily Rumney of Edgecomb; son, David Provencal and his wife Faith, their daughters, Savannah and Samantha, and three great grandchildren of North Carolina.
Karen will be buried privately at Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
In lieu of flowers, Karen would encourage you to register and vote in November.
