Lincoln Country Sheriff's Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 312 calls for service for the period of June 9 to June 16. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 5,681 calls for service.
Summons
Sarah M. McLain, 30, of Nobleboro was issued a summons June 14 for Criminal Trespass on Center Street, Nobleboro, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison, on behalf of Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Arrests
Gregory B. Regan, 43, of Alton, New Hampshire was arrested June 11 for Violating Condition of Release, on Eddy Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Nicholas J. W. Reed, 29, of Damariscotta was arrested June 11 for Aggravated Assault; Aggravated Criminal Trespass; Stalking and Criminal Mischief, by Sgt. Matthew Day, on behalf of an investigation into an incident which occurred in Bristol, on 06/10/26, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Milford Rice, Jr., 67, of Augusta was arrested June 13 on a Biddeford Police Department arrest warrant for a Protection from Abuse Violation, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, where he turned himself in on the warrant to Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Accidents
On June 9, an accident occurred on Biscay Road in Bremen involving Samuel W. Daroche, 18, of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Daroche was operating his 2014 Nissan Sentra southbound when he claimed a vehicle traveling north, entered his lane and sideswiped his vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On June 10, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Kasey C. Benson, 46, of Wiscasset; Jana R. Morehouse, 64, of Southport and Alton P. Richardson, 76, of Boothbay. Mr. Benson was operating his 2007 Dodge Dakota southbound when his driver’s side tire fell off and entered the northbound lane. Ms. Morehouse was operating her 2017 Toyota Sienna northbound when the tire struck the driver’s side of her vehicle. Mr. Richardson was operating his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado behind Morehouse’s vehicle when the tire continued southbound and struck his vehicle. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On June 10, an accident occurred on West Alna Road in Alna involving Theodore R. Dalton, 53, of South Portland. Mr. Dalton was operating his 2026 Toyota Sienna northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On June 10, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Somerville involving Karen M. Thurston, 61, of Rumford and Sierra M. Still, 31, of Jefferson. Both vehicles were traveling on Rockland Road, traveling westbound. Ms. Still stopped her 2015 Subaru WRX SE to allow for a third party to remove a turtle from the roadway. Ms. Thurston, who was operating her 2015 Hyundai Sonata behind Still’s vehicle, was distracted by the party moving the turtle and did not notice Still stopped ahead of her. Thurston realized too late and tried to brake but was unable to stop and struck Still’s vehicle in the rear, causing both vehicles to suffer disabling damage. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On June 11, an accident occurred on Main Street in Newcastle involving Robert M. Paskal, 87, of Boothbay Harbor and Hannah M. Mishler, 32, of Dresden. Mr. Paskal was stopped at the stop sign, heading westbound, in his 2018 Toyota Corolla. Ms. Mishler was operating her 2023 Subaru Forester northbound on Main Street, heading onto Academy Hill Road, when Paskal entered the intersection, causing Mishler to strike Paskal’s vehicle. Sgt. Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
On June 13, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Susan E. Norcross, 68, of Bristol. Ms. Norcross was operating her 2020 Toyota RAV4 northbound when she observed a deer in the roadway and struck it. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
