The next monthly meeting of the Visually Impaired Persons group will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 1:15 p.m. in the Community Center/Boothbay Region Health Center located in the Meadow Mall in Boothbay Harbor.

Guest speaker will be Jeff Slack, Lincoln County's case manager for MaineHealth's CarePartners program. Jeff has been described as a problem-solver extraordinaire in helping people navigate the low cost and free health insurance resources available to Midcoast Mainers.
