The Rockland Yacht Club (RYC) Youth Scholarship Regatta will be held August 16, 2025!

Presented by RYC in partnership with the Sail, Power, and Steam Museum, this annual event raises funds to support youth sailing in the Miodcoast!

This fun and exciting race will be followed by a celebration with barbecue, festivities, and awards. Race registration is required at www.regattaman.com for all boats. Registration is $100 prior to August 8 and $125 thereafter. Skippers' meeting is at 10am at the RYC and the first warning signal will be at approximately 11:30am. An awards celebration and dinner will follow the race. 

The event raises helps get the next generation of sailors to get out on the water via programs like Midcoast Sailing Center’s “Sail Kids for Free” (SKFF) classes for youth aged 8-14 and the area high school sailing teams at the Apprentice Shop. We believe cost should not be a barrier for young sailors. Race registration includes four tickets to the awards ceremony and barbecue, and a race t-shirt for the captain. Additional dinner tickets -- open to all -- may be purchased at the door for $15.
