Join the Sail, Power, and Steam Museum in welcoming back folk musician Geoff Kaufman. Kaufman’s music is described as “Acoustic music … with a pinch of salt,” and for the past 28 years, he has been leading audiences to find truth, humor, and beauty in folk music. Songs of the sea, songs of the earth, songs of the heart and the spirit – all of these are in Kaufman’s musical ditty bag.

Ancient ballads, work songs and songs of love; poignant songs of people in struggle, humous glimpses of human foibles, and insights into history – are all to be woven into Geoff’s concerts. At the core of Geoff’s performances is his rich tenor voice and his exuberant love of singing which entices audiences to sing along, sharing in the exhilaration of full-throated vocalization if they wish.
