Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 505 calls for service for the period of July 7 to July 15. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 7,422 calls for service.
Summonses
James Fossett, 18, of South Bristol was issued a summons July 8 for Operating an ATV on a Public Way, on State Route 129, South Bristol, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Jason S. Randlett, 47, of Boothbay was issued a summons July 13 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – OUI, on River Road, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Arrests
Joshua R. Glidden, 40, of Damariscotta was arrested July 10 for Criminal Trespass and Violating Condition of Release, on East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Marshall G. Mercer, 44, of Edgecomb was arrested July 11 on an Augusta Police Department warrant for Failure to Appear. Following an investigation, Mr. Mercer was also charged with Violating Condition of Release; Domestic Violence Assault; Domestic Violence Terrorizing and Terrorizing, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Thomas P. Montuori, 45, of Bristol was arrested July 14 for Domestic Violence Assault with Priors; Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault; Criminal Restraint and Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention, on Poor Farm Road, Bristol, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson, who was assisted by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Accidents
On July 9, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Jeffrey L. Cyr, 64, of Thorndike and Brian L. MacCorkle, 59, of Round Pond. Mr. Cyr was operating his 2024 Dodge 2500 southbound, behind Mr. MacCorkle’s 1997 Ford FT900F truck, when a large piece of metal came off of the back of MacCorkle’s truck and struck the front of Cyr’s vehicle. It appears the piece of metal came out of a vehicle that was on the back of MacCorkle’s truck. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On July 9, an accident occurred on Harrington Road in Bristol involving Robert T. Montgomery, 81, of Venice, Florida. Mr. Montgomery was operating his 2025 Mazda CX-50 southbound when he ran off the road on the right and struck a large rock face of ledge which was roadside. Mr. Montgomery pulled back onto the road and continued southbound. Mr. Montgomery then crashed approximately 0.4 miles down the road again, when he failed to negotiate a curve and went through the intersection of Pemaquid Harbor Road and Harrington Road, where he took out the stop sign and road sign, before going off the roadway. It is believed damage from the first crash caused Mr. Montgomery to lose control and crash again. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On July 9, an accident occurred on Colonial Pemaquid Drive in Bristol involving Scott W. Robinson, 23, of Waldoboro. Mr. Robinson was operating his 2024 Ford Supercab northbound and was speeding around a corner when he lost control. As a result, his vehicle entered the opposite lane and went off the roadway where he hit a tree before coming to rest in a nearby ditch. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On July 11, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Bremen involving Raven Bunker, 22, of Bremen. Ms. Bunker was operating her 2018 Dodge Ram 15 southbound when a deer ran out in front of her and was struck, causing front end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On July 12, an accident occurred on Lynch Road in Newcastle involving Natalie J. Brown, 28, of Boothbay. Ms. Brown was operating her 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side, struck her vehicle, then exited the roadway on the right side. Deputy Nathan Yeaton was the investigating officer.
