Morris H. Dickinson
Morris H. Dickinson, 84, of Boothbay passed away on July 1, 2025 at Cove's Edge in Damariscotta.
Morris was born June 17, 1941 in Boothbay to Henry Dickinson Sr. and Margaret Place Dickinson.
Morris held many jobs through the years, driving a garbage truck from a young age, working in construction, helping with the establishment and management of the laundramat at the Meadow Mall. He also worked for many years at Bath Iron Works until he started his own business, Dickinson Used Cars, in 1984 and continued until his death.
Morris was predeceased by his mother and father; his wife of 62 years, F. Elaine Dickinson; his son, Anthony "Tony" Dickinson; and brothers, John Dickinson and Samuel Stanley.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Dickinson and his wife, Louise, of Bath; his son, Gary Dickinson and his wife, Stacy, of Boothbay; his grandsons, Alex Dickinson of Westbrook, and Aaron Dickinson of Boothbay; and his brother, Ernest "Jack" Dickinson of Topsham.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Boothbay.
Donations in Morris's memory may be made to Special Olympics or the American Cancer Society.
