Hearty Roots on the move
Neera Harmon and Michael Tetreault of Bath donated their minivan to Hearty Roots to help get kids “off the grid and into their hearts.” The donation comes as Hearty Roots campaigns to raise funds for a Campus for Mindful Adventure, a homebase that will help deepen their offerings for local Maine youth to become good stewards of the land and their mental health.
“Hearty Roots supports kids in a way that we know is beneficial to them: by getting outside, teaching them mindfulness skills, and having fun. It’s the perfect trifecta to counter the daily stresses and climbing rates of anxiety and depression. We are so happy to support their work through our donation,” said Neera Harmon and Michael Tetreault in a joint statement.
