Coastal Senior College (CSC) is pleased to announce its series of fall 2025 courses in Knox and Lincoln counties. CSCoffers lifelong learners the opportunity to expand their knowledge or to explore a wide range of topics from African American spirituals to world drama and literature to Benedict Arnold in Maine. 

CSC will offer four- to eight-week courses, beginning the week of Sept. 15.Ten courses will be held in person at various locations throughout Lincoln and Knox counties and six courses will be taught on Zoom.  

Fallcourses include—Mondays: “From Baltimore to Kalimpong: The Life and Music of Philip Glass (Camden) --Tuesdays: “The Psychology of Aging: What it Is and How to Do It” (Zoom), “Painting Backyard Wildlife in Watercolor Pencil” (Zoom), “Let’s Repeat Ourselves: Poems with Lines We Love” (Zoom), “I Can’t Even Draw a Stick Figure!” (Newcastle), “The Origins of Human Evolution”(Rockland), “Trigonometry for the Fun of It” (Damariscotta) -– Wednesdays: “Thoreau and Dissent” (Newcastle), “The Quest for Quebec: Benedict Arnold’s March Through Maine” (Newcastle), “Every Time I Feel the Spirit: Singing African American Spirituals” (Waldoboro), “In and Out of Kilter: Exploring Balance with Experiential Anatomy (Waldoboro) – Thursdays: “Editing Techniques: How to Cut and Prune Your Writing”(Zoom), “Women of a Certain Age: Revisiting/Remembering 1970’s Feminist Literature” (Newcastle), “Kundera’s Takes on the Unbearable” (Zoom) – Fridays: “Moliere: The Scandal and the Glory of French Comedy1643-1673” (Zoom), “Facts Versus Feelings in Dickens’ Hard Times” (Bremen).
