Saltwater Artist Gallery, located just steps from the iconic Pemaquid Lighthouse, invites artists to apply for our 2026 season. We are a long-standing collective of 25+ artists who work cooperatively to create an engaging and vibrant art space for visitors from near and far.

Saltwater Artist Gallery is a 501c3 gallery founded on collaboration, creativity, and community. Each member contributes to the daily operations of the gallery, engages with the public, and supports fellow artists. We value professionalism, teamwork, and a shared commitment to the arts in the Midcoast Maine region.

We are seeking Maine-based artists with a strong connection to the Midcoast/Pemaquid area who: - Create distinctive, high-quality artwork. - Present a cohesive and compelling body of work. - Enjoy interacting with the public. - Are enthusiastic about being part of a cooperative team.

Artists working in all forms of mediums are welcome to apply.

Submissions -Applicants must submit the following materials: Four to six high-resolution images of your artwork (JPEG or PNG preferred).  Please ensure your images are labeled clearly with your name and the title of each piece.  Artist bio and artist statement and contact information - including phone and email.

The jury interviews will begin in January 2026. Early submissions are encouraged.
