Arrests
Corey A. Frizzell, 46, of Edgecomb was arrested July 7 for Violating Condition of Release and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug on Main Street in Whitefield. Deputy Zachary Smith was the arresting officer and was assisted by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Seumas B. Fletcher, 59, of Bristol was arrested July 8 for Domestic Violence Assault on Bristol Road in Bristol. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the arresting officer and was assisted by Sgt. Kevin Dennison and Damariscotta Officer Smith
Jason S. Bechard, 54, of Bristol was arrested July 8 for Operating After Suspension and Violating Condition of Release on Harrington Road in South Bristol. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the arresting officer.
Terese Simpson, 53, of Dresden was arrested July 9 for Violating Condition of Release on Calls Hill in Dresden. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the arresting officer and was assisted by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Vaughn E. Nastvogel, 48, of Nobleboro was arrested July 9 for Domestic Violence Assault on Causeway Drive in Nobleboro. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the arresting officer and was assisted by Sgt. Kevin Dennison
Jillian D. Richards, 36, of Waldoboro was arrested July 12 on a Warrant for Failing to Report on Alna Road in Alna. Deputy Ethan Burns was the arresting officer
Makaila A. Giles, 24, of Hinckley was arrested July 11 on a Warrant for Endangering Welfare of a Child on Waldoboro Road in Jefferson. Deputy Brandon Maciuba was the arresting officer.
Charles P. Lorentzen, 22, of Palm Beach, Florida was arrested July 11 for Operating Under the Influence on S. Road in South Bristol. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the arresting officer and was assisted by Deputy Ethan Burns and Deputy Zachary Smith.
Accidents
On July 6, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Andre B. Roberge, 27, of Augusta and Richard P. Brunck, 69 of Bath. Mr. Roberge was operating a 2010 Nissan Altima attempting to turn south of Route 1 from Eddy Road and did not see Mr. Brunck in a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder traveling north on Route 1. The vehicles collided. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On July 8, an accident occurred on Harrington Road in South Bristol involving Jason S. Bechard, 54, of Bristol. Mr. Bechard was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe west when the front tire broke off cause him to leave the roadway. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On July 8, an accident occurred on South Hunts Meadow Road in Whitefield involving Marie-Anne L. Flowers, 56, of Pittston. Ms. Flowers was operating a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe north when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Zachary Smith was the investigating officer.
On July 9, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Whitefield involving Zachary T. Fox, 33, of Whitefield. Mr. Fox was operating a 2016 Ford Escape westbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Brandon Maciuba was the investigating officer.
On July 9, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving David A. Seba, 61, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Seba was operating a 2006 Toyota Tacoma south when he crossed the center line, left the roadway and came to rest in a field. Sgt. Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
On July 10, an accident occurred on the Turner Road in Bremen involving Theodore S. Derivan, 52, of Bremen and Travis A. Branen, 22, of Bremen. Mr. Branen was operating a 2024 Kawasaki X500 eastbound when Mr. Derivan was operating a 2028 Dodge 2500 pulling a trailer with a boat entered the Turner Road causing Mr. Branen to strike the boat. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On July 10, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Earland A. Boynton, 71, of Jefferson. Mr. Boynton was operating a 2016 Subaru Impreza southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer
On July 12, an accident occurred on Center Street in Nobleboro involving John R. Tonry, 28, of Edgecomb. Mr. Tonry was operating a 2013 Harley Davidson FXLRST turning from US Route 1 onto Center Street when he struck a patch of sand and lost traction causing the motorcycle to go down and strike the pavement. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On July 13, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Joan J. Gonzalez Gomes, 21, of Kindred, Florida. Mr. Gonzalez Gomes was operating a 2015 Infinity Q50 southbound when he crossed the center line and went off the road. Sgt Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
