Follow the illustrated signs along theone-mile trail, starting from the Oak Point Farm parking lot kiosk. The trail now features the read-aloud book "Animal Homes," written and photographed by naturalist photographer and environmental educator Mary Holland. Just like humans, animals use their homes for shelter and to raise their young. Animal homes might be easy to see, or they may be hidden (camouflaged) for protection. 60 Samoset Road, Boothbay Harbor. The trail is open during daylight hours.
