William W. Hall
William Walter “Billy” Hall, born on March 10, 1972, passed away on Jan. 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Billy grew up in Boothbay Harbor, a place that always felt like home to him. He began his working life as a cook at McSeagulls and went on to work at many restaurants throughout Boothbay and Joe’s Boathouse in South Portland, Maine.
Billy was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and extremely dry sense of humor, which will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him. He faced his illness with strength and bravery.
He is survived by his fiancé, Beth Blackman; his mother and step-father, Patricia and Ted Irish; his siblings, Barbara Newbegin, Steven Brewer, Peter Brewer, and Melissa McCourt; and his brother-in-law, Warren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on March 7. Further details will follow.
Billy’s memory will live on through the laughter he inspired, the love he shared, and the lasting impression he left on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
