Southport approves special amusement permit for Lincoln Arts Festival
Southport selectmen issued a new special amusement license Aug. 13 for the Lincoln Arts Festival scheduled at Hodgdon Yachts later this month. At a recent meeting, selectmen approved a one-day special license for Aug. 8. Lincoln Arts contacted selectmen about the wrong date, and requested a new special amusement license.
Selectmen approved a new license for Aug. 22 at Hodgdon Yachts. The board also approved an one-day liquor license for caterer Krysta Coulombe for an Aug. 12 event on Pratt's Island Road. Selectmen also renewed Robinson's Wharf's annual liquor license to sell beer, wine and spirits.
In other action, the Southport Island Association is providing a flu shot clinic. Selectmen approved a town hall rental for the Oct. 9 event. The clinic runs from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Selectmen received a thank you note from the Harbor Theater for the town's $1,000 annual contribution approved during the March Town Meeting.
Selectmen meet next at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the town hall.
