The Boothbay Region Seahawks defeated the Winthrop Ramblers for the second time this season, 4-0, at Winthrop May 22 and finished the regular season atop the Class C South division with an 11-1 record. Winthrop, seeded third, dropped to 7-2 on the season.

Boothbay is next scheduled to play Winthrop for the third time this season at Maranacook for the Mountain Valley Conference championship on Tuesday, May 26 at 4 p.m.
