Ocean Point: Thanks and reminders
Those on vacation this past week have enjoyed the best weather of the summer. It was great to see Kevin and Dani McGonagle here with their children Ellie and Ryan and Alec and Kelly Dun. Rich and Stephanie Slayton are here enjoying time with all of their family.
Congratulations to Matt and Kathy Lindley and daughter Kate who recently moved into their beautiful new home.
Thank you to all who chaired an activity last week. Thank you to Ginna Yerrall for the Taco Night that everyone thoroughly enjoyed and to her crew: Alicia and Shawn Raymond, Lisa Rush, Maureen Driscoll, Holly Cleary, Cara Pond, Dossie Boynton, Addie Cleary, and Jonathan and Luke Yerrall
Thank you to the History Committee for an informative and interesting look at Ocean Point’s past. Special thanks to Holly Hornor, Anne Hussey-Hogaboom and John Waldman for sharing their family’s early years at Ocean Point.
Thank you to China McHold for organizing the food sale last Friday. Great food items, coffee and donuts and of course the very popular raffle were enjoyed by all.
Sunday softball results were Team Dawson defeating Team Kaler 10-6. The second of the season ball game grill was well attended after the game thanks to Cara and Mark Pond. Everyone enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, salads and dessert.
Despite the incredible summer weather I’m sad to report that activities are winding down at the end of this week.
Suzie Hamblett and Cookie Dana are hosting the ladies themed porch party Wednesday evening at 5:30. The theme is “what was I thinking?” Look in your closet ladies and find an outfit you purchased but have never worn or just come and enjoy delicious appetizers, drinks and great conversation. Bring an appetizer to share and your beverage of choice.
Please plan on attending the Annual Meeting of the OPCT Saturday morning at 9:30. There are important issues to be voted on; if you have not yet submitted your contribution see Barb Klein. Payment is required in advance of the vote.
Have a great week!
