Ocean Point Column: Moving toward winter
These past weeks have flown by following our departure from Ocean Point and I have finally adjusted to being in our winter residence for the upcoming months.
Although fall signals the end of our days at Ocean Point, I do enjoy the change of season, especially this one with our Patriots playing so well. Like all New England fans, we are excited and thrilled to have our new coach, quarterback and all of the team earn us a place at the top of the division. I have every confidence that we will remain there.
Happy belated Veterans Day to all our servicemen past and present and especially to our Ocean Point veterans. Thank you to all those who planned and participated in placing the veteran banners on the poles throughout the entire area; driving past all of the banners each day was a favorite activity.
I know I’ve mentioned many times before how appreciative I am of all those who post their many beautiful photos on the Facebook page; it certainly makes the time away from the Point seem a bit more tolerable.
Be sure to check out the amazing photos of Gardens Aglow in the Register. Thanks to photographers Steve Edwards and Mike Leornard for providing a preview of this spectacular event. If you are able, this is an event not to be missed. All of the holiday events planned are also quite amazing;events are listed on the Chamber of Commerce website.
Many will be gathered with family and loved ones for Thanksgiving. I wish you all safe travel to wherever your destination takes you and a day full of fun, laughter and wonderful memories.
Have a great week!
