Mt. Abram rolls over Boothbay
The Mt. Abram Roadrunners improved to 14-3 with a 77-28 home win on Friday, Jan. 30.
Boothbay is now 5-12 with the loss.
The Roadrunners jumped out to a 20-4 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
Jenna Osgood led Mt. Abram with 21 points, followed by Abby McCarty with 18, Stella Peterson with 11 and Evelyn Pepin with 10.
High scorers for Boothbay were Tatum French with nine, Eleanor Erwin with seven and Addie Barter with six.
Boothbay will finish the regular season at Winthrop (8-8) on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
The Seahawks, seeded in seventh place in Class D South, have all but secured a tournament spot and will await their matchup. Mt. Abram, seeded in second place, could be their tournament foe and face Boothbay for the third time this season. Mt. Abram won at BRHS 67-28 in early January.
