Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 282 calls for service for the period of Jan. 13 to Jan. 20. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 709 calls for service.
Summonses
Jacob L. McInnis Jr., 18, of Whitefield was issued a summons Jan. 15 for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, on Mills Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Ronald Rollins.
Brandon R. Klimko, 20, of Pittston was issued summonses Jan. 18 for Driving to Endanger and Operating ATV on Public Way, after an investigation into an accident which occurred on 10/26/25, on Cedar Grove Road, Dresden, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Arrests
Jacob L. McInnis Sr., 41, of Whitefield was arrested Jan. 13 for Possession of a Firearm when Prohibited, on Petticoat Acres Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Caleb Poirier, who was assisted by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Jacob L. McInnis Jr., 18, of Whitefield was arrested Jan. 14 for Aggravated Criminal Mischief and Reckless Conduct, on Head Tide Hill Road, Alna, by Sgt. Ronald Rollins, who was assisted by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Cody J. Watson, 32, of Boothbay was arrested Jan. 19 for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault, on Rittall Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Accidents
On Jan. 14, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Tyler E. Eldridge, 31, of West Gardiner. Mr. Eldridge was operating his 2020 Chevrolet Express southbound when a deer ran out in front of him and was struck, causing significant front-end damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 17, an accident occurred on Patterson Road in Dresden involving Pedro F. Bajana Suarez, 39, of Lewiston. Mr. Bajana Suarez was operating his 2014 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound when he lost control due to snowy road conditions. As a result, he crossed the center line, swerved off the road and into a ditch, sustaining damage to the driver’s side corner. Deputy Brandon Maciuba was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 17, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Yiran Yang, 30, of Malden, Massachusetts. Ms. Yang was operating her 2018 Toyota northbound when she lost control due to snowy road conditions. As a result, her vehicle veered off the roadway on the right and traveled up a ditch, sustaining damage to the front driver’s corner. Deputy Brandon Maciuba was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 17, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Cary A. Mais, 27, of Belfast. Mr. Mais was operating his 2023 Int’l Harvester/Navistar northbound when his vehicle caught fire. The undercarriage area of the vehicle caught fire and spread to the cargo area. Unknown cause for the fire. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 18, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Luke W. Peavey, 42, of Westport Island. Mr. Peavey was operating his 2026 Honda CR-V northbound when he observed several deer enter the road from the southbound ditch. As a result, he swerved to avoid the deer, however, he struck one and entered the northbound ditch. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 19, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Stephen Tree, 30, of Sabattus. Mr. Tree was operating his 2019 Honda Accord southbound when his vehicle dropped into a low shoulder. Tree attempted to correct, but skidded off the roadway on the right and struck a “Curve Warning” sign. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 19, an accident occurred on Shore Road in Edgecomb involving Kollin Donlin, 16, of Warren. Mr. Donlin was operating his 2024 Toyota RAV4 eastbound when he skidded on the slush covered roadway, veering right off the roadway, before coming to rest against a tree. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
