The monthly meeting of Lincoln County Republicans will be held Wednesday, July 22, at the Safe Harbor Community Church, 50 Mills Road, Waldoboro. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the speaker begins at 6. This month’s guest speaker is Jonathan Fetherston from the Maine Wire.

Fetherston is a reporter with decades worth of experience in local politics, as well as a lengthy career in radio and television. He primarily covers Southern Maine but also touches on important regional and national topics. The Maine Wire is an online news and opinion service of the Maine Policy Institute that primarily covers political and local issues, and national political, policy, and economic freedom issues.

Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items that will be donated to the local food pantry.

A business meeting will follow at 7. This event is open to registered Republicans.
