The Eastside Waterfront Park committee is once again holding its Christmas Ornament Decorating Contest. There will be cash prizes for children and adults in five age categories with a grand prize of $250.

The ornaments may be picked up at the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce office during their operating hours between Nov. 17 and Dec. 5.

If entering the contests, ornaments should be placed in a bag with entrant’s name and contact information and returned to the elves at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library on Saturday, Dec. 6 between noon and 2 p.m. Ornaments will be judged at 2 p.m. and winners will be notified that afternoon.

Decorated ornaments will be available for pick up starting Monday, Dec. 8 at the Chamber of Commerce during regular business hours.
