The Golden Cup returns to spin all the old tunes
“We’re back with our twelfth annual event,” said OBD Williams-Fossett Vintage Car Show” founder Jeff Friedman. “It would have been the Vintage Show’s thirteenth family-friendly community happening, but one-year was lost due to Covid.
Organizers are pleased to announce that “The Golden Gup” will be back to spin allthe old tunes. Gup will play everyone’s favoritespopular during several decades. Gup Gascoigne has been an oldies and classicsmobile DJ for over 45 years. He acquired his first old car, a 1963 Cadillac convertible as a teenager and has been an avid car collector ever since.
“I’mreally looking forward to doing your show again. Great vehicles and people, too.” Gup commented.
Reservations are free and continue to be open at jft1@verizon.net and 973-715-1235 for the Vintage Show on Saturday morning, Aug. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bristol Consolidated School in Bristol. Bring as many as you want. Vehicles are also invited to join the traditional Olde Bristol Days Parade beginning at 10 a.m. The events and entertainment are all part of the traditional Olde Bristol Days weekend celebration.
