BRHS Class of 1975 holds a 'rockin' 50th year reunion
















































Thirty members of Boothbay Region High School Class of 1975 had a grand time reminiscing and enjoying the food, superb weather and music at their 50th year reunion held at Brady's restaurant in Boothbay Harbor Saturday afternoon, July 26. A 31st member, Joyanne Kuhner Good, the class's foreign exchange student, called from Australia via Facetime and got to see and talk with several classmates later in the celebration.
Class members attending were Ed Abbott, Jay Andrews, Becky Beane Smith, Lea Boyar, Kevin Burnham, Howard Dolloff, Martha Dolloff Landry, Cathy Farnham Landry, Bruce Graham, Elizabeth Harriman, Steve Higgins, Breck Holloday, Lisa Hunt, Bill Landry, Diane Lozier Reed, Alan Miller, Heidi Murray, Trish Nason Fallon, Kara Niemi, Marie Orchard Kelly, Geoff Parkhurst, Brenda Peaslee Blackman, Dickie Perkins, Kathleen Pinkham Hallinan, Vicki Rule Hall, Ruth Stover Watts, Laurie Thibodeau, Anne Thompson Maher, Wendy Warren Wood and Kim Winslow Meservey.
The band, 3 Day Funk, provided classic 70s music throughout the three-hour reunion.
Photo posters of class members as they appeared in school were prepared and displayed by Ruth Watts and Trish Fallon, including a special In Memoriam poster of classmates and one-time classmates: Steve Arsenault, Alan Barter, Les Brewer, Mark Brewer, Wayne Brewer, Thom Carroll, Scott Heino, Jamie Hodgdon, Laura Larkin, Richelle McLellan, David Morton, Fred Orne, Kathy Sherman, Ed Tibbetts and Minnie Swett.
Kim Meservey provided decorations, Wendy Wood provided flowers and Marie Kelly made a special cake. Watts and Fallon, who along with others were dressed in tie-dyed 70s clothing, also presented door prizes to class members as their names were drawn from a box.
