Inducted were, in alphabetical order: Isabelle Andreasen, Adeline Barter, Brianna Campbell, Olivia Carlson, Ethan Clark, Jayden Coulombe, Maggie Curtis, Joel Felten, Natalie Flagg, Aron Geddes, Lexi Hughes, Alex Ross, Allison Smart, Elijah Smith, Moriah Smith, Zuriel Smith, Annabelle Whitney and Jackson Zehm.
Current members, Allan “AJ” Crocker, Ronan Drage, Cole Hyson, Casey Phelps, Sabine Porchee and Cale Rogers, conducted the ceremony. BRHS teacher Dennis Dacus is the school’s NHS advisor.
The current members explained the characteristics of the four virtues needed for induction: scholarship, service, character and leadership. Certificates and pins were awarded to each new inductee and Principal Dr. Tricia Campbell provide congratulatory remarks.
The National Honor Society (NHS, www.nhs.us) was established to recognize outstanding high school students by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) in 1921.
