"Hallowen Horror: What Are You Afraid Of?"

Join author Greg Smith on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m. as he explores the many reasons we find horror literature so frightening, fascinating, and fun. This will be an interactive event and may not be appropriate for children.

Greg will read from the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, and, of course, Stephen King. He will also read from his latest book, "Prayers For Evil." The plot line: Chris Murphy moves to the old mill town of Ashton Falls, Maine, with his daughter for a fresh start. Strange accidents begin happening, and he uncovers an ancient, sinister curse connected to the Dark Ages and Nazi Europe.
