Are you a seasonal worker who needs transportation for the summer? The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club will be loaning bicycles to seasonal workers starting Saturday, May 10. At the time of pick-up we require a $100 cash deposit which is fully refundable when the bike is returned in good condition. We also require your local address and some form of identification.

Bicycles can be picked up next to the Rotary Club Barn, 66 Montgomery Road, Boothbay Harbor.

The bicycles will be available each Saturday starting May 10 through June 28 between 9 and 11 a.m. Also every Thursday starting May 29 through June 26 between 5 and 6 p.m.

The Rotary Club purchases, maintains and loans over 100 bicycles most summers. The bicycles provide our seasonal workers the transportation they need to get to their jobs reliably. A helmet, bike lock and lights are offered to each bike recipient. The bike program is made possible by your generous donations to the Big Gray Rotary Barn and by the Rotary Club Bike Crew who volunteer their time and skill to maintain around 100 bikes every summer.
