Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 5 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 242 calls for service for the period of June 10 to June 17. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 5,948 calls for service.
Summons
Richard J. Pauley, Jr., 61, of Waldoboro was issued a summons June 15 for Operating Under the Influence, after an investigation was completed in a traffic accident which occurred on 03/28/25, on Waldoboro Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Aric C. Grez, 46, of Newark, New Jersey was arrested June 10 for Burglary and Aggravated Assault, on Ovens Mouth Lane, Boothbay, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Corey J. Chapman, 32, of Dresden was arrested June 11 for Aggravated Assault – DV, on Middle Road, Dresden, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Marcus Hughes, 40, of Boothbay was arrested June 11 for Domestic Violence Assault and Terrorizing, on Skylers Way, Boothbay, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Edward J. Fox, 36, of Damariscotta was arrested June 15 for Burglary and Criminal Mischief, on East Pond Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Allan B. Ludwig, 31, of Bristol was arrested June 16 for Driving to Endanger; Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30 + MPH over speed limit and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Accidents
On June 10, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Aloisia Pollock, 75, of Jefferson. Ms. Pollock was operating her 2023 Subaru Crosstrek southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the west, striking the front of her vehicle. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On June 12, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Andrew J. Rosen, 39, of Boothbay and John R. Ramsey, 78, of Boothbay. Mr. Rosen was operating his 2016 Subaru Legacy northbound on Route 27. Mr. Ramsey was backing his 2012 GMC Sierra out of a driveway and failed to yield the right of way, striking Rosen’s vehicle. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On June 13, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Linda J. Dillen, 65, of Blackstone, Massachusetts. Ms. Dillen was operating her 2025 Nissan Rogue southbound when a deer ran out in front of her and was struck, causing cosmetic damage to the driver’s side front corner. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On June 13, an accident occurred on Cooper Road in Whitefield involving Tyler A. McCray, 22, of Whitefield. Mr. McCray was operating his 2018 Chevrolet Colorado southbound when he observed a deer enter the road from the southbound lane and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On June 14, an accident occurred on Barters Island Road in Boothbay involving Maddox J. Cusumano, 17, of Boothbay Harbor. Mr. Cusumano was operating his 2003 GMC Sierra eastbound and his vehicle had a door which was not properly secured and the door opened while negotiating a turn. As a result, he lost control of his vehicle, entered the eastbound ditch, struck a sign and continued down an embankment. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
