Dear Editor:

For 30 years, Susan Collins brought millions to Maine…but lately, in league with Trump, she has left our working classes struggling to pay medical bills, put food on family tables and gas in their tanks..

To wit:

(1) Collins cast decisive votes for pro-abortionists Trump nominated to the Supreme Court. They soon denied a Maine woman’s right to choose.

(2) Collins supported Trump’s attack on the Constitution and drive for presidential absolutism, letting pass extraordinary administrative foul play and graft.

(3) Collins ignored Trump’s economically suicidal tariffs, exploding inflation and pushing the cost of housing and insurance beyond reach.

(4) Collins supported Trump’s inept costly war on Iran, further boosting inflation and pushing working families towards poverty. SNAP funds were regularly pilfered. American soldiers were killed.

(5) After ICE killed an innocent immigrant in Biddeford, and continued to bully Maine citizens, Collins incredibly voted for increased funding and few guardrails.

(6) Legally, she did not protest as Trump threw our courts and justice system into chaos, ignoring rulings and habeas corpus and using the Justice Department to punish his political enemies.

(7) Collins supported Trump’s disastrous cuts to Medicaid, threatening coverage of the poor and the closing of our small hospitals and natal facilities – all to underwrite huge tax savings for his family and the ultra-rich.

(8) Collins helped cover up the Epstein files and reportedly took millions in campaign contributions from Epstein’s supporters.

(9) Collins joined in Trump’s play-to-pay corruption schemes, accepting cash to facilitate contracts. Some (not Collins) went to jail, but further prosecution was squashed by Trump.

In short, we cannot afford six more years of Collins. The answer is simple: Vote for Troy Jackson for Maine Senator. A skillful legislator. An honest man -- six generations a Maine logger. Send Collins packing!
