Vendors still needed at St. Giles summer Country Fair
St. Giles Episcopal Church in Jefferson is gearing up for its annual Country Fair, to be held outdoors under the pines Saturday July 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It’s always a fun day to come together, support the church and take part in numerous activities, including an auction and raffle, children’s games, homemade items, including jams and “heavenly” pies, a plant sale, and luncheon food and drink. In addition, for a fee of $25, local artisans and crafters are invited to display their items for sale by renting a space that includes a 3-ft. by 8-ft. table.
Vendors are still needed. To reserve a space call 207-242-2262 and leave a message and your call will be returned. You can also mail a check payable to St. Giles, with “Fair Table” in the memo line. The mailing address is St. Giles, P.O. Box 34, Jefferson, ME 04348.
If you have items you wish to donate to the auction, call 207-882-7060 and leave a message. This is a good time to search your barns and find items in good condition you no longer use that can benefit another and help raise money for the church.
The fair is a fundraiser that generates aid for outreach programs and agencies in our area, such as the Jefferson Area Community Food Pantry and Maine’s Home for Little Wanderers.
St. Giles Church is located at 72 Gardiner Road in Jefferson.
