Dear Editor:

What is true? What is false? We were created by a loving God! Evolution, big bang theory?

From my perspective, the real truth is God created us and loves us. He is the source of all truth and knowledge. Humans have questioned God and His love since the beginning of time. God gave people the 10 Commandments to set a standard for us. He created us with free will.

He loves us and wants us to love him and others but He does not force us. Just as we love our children and want them to love us we cannot force this. We can seek God and truth or we can believe the lies of Satan or some other human or whatever we conjure up in our own minds. We all want things our own way sometimes. God’s love is pure and good. None of us can obey God’s law without His help. God is perfect! We are not!

Jesus came as a human baby to share God’s love with us. He was rejected by many even Religious leaders of His time. Jesus’ followers (Christians) spread his message. Christians are not perfect we sometimes sin. We live in a fallen state. Only with God’s help can we live happy productive lives. Jesus died for our sins. He redeems us and forgives us just as we forgive our children as we are His spiritual children. He is a perfect father. Human fathers make mistakes.

In America we formed a Constitution that based our laws on the Bible. People came here for a better life to worship God and raise their families without kings or tyrannical rulers. Religion is manmade.  True Christians are Christ followers.

People are born male or female. We also are born with a conscience. Choose truth and life. Debate without hate. Praise God and be thankful. He, not government, loves you.
