Courtesy of the Mirabiles"Time Adrift" is a heart-filled musical adventure set in a bustling coastal town where the tides never wait. This new show has music and lyrics written by local couple Emily and Nick Mirabile. You may know them from their business, Woodsong Market; the region's youth performance group, Y Arts; and their time in the footlights.
When fisherman and father Ben is lost at sea during a sudden storm, he awakens in a dazzling underwater world filled with talking sea creatures, mischievous seagulls, glamorous mermaids, pirates and one endlessly hopeful guide — the Lonely Buoy.
As Ben journeys through the ocean depths in search of a way home, he must face tempting shortcuts, dangerous bargains, and the true cost of time itself. Meanwhile, his family waits on shore, holding fast to love and hope. "Time Adrift" is a joyful, moving story about home, trust and finding your way back before time slips away.
The show stars Spencer Pottle as Ben. Pottle has returned from his first year of college, studying musical theater at Florida Southern, and is excited to be in the original cast of this new musical.
The production also features Sophia Mansfield, Agatha Harris, Oscar Mirabile and Jonah Kurtz as Ben's family and Andy Luke, Roosevelt Bishop, Titan Lewis and Scout Martin as Ben's fisherman buddies.
