Considering the position you are running for, what do you feel are the three most pressing issues? (350 words or less): 1. The high school is 70 years old this year. The elementary school turns 50 years old this year. The sustainability of both school needs to be addressed. We need to come together as a whole community, agree on a way forward and move forward. 2. Back in 2021, we did not one, but two, existing Building Reports - one by Lavalee-Brensinger and a second, independent one between both schools. The price at the time was approximately $30 million and the escalation on those was 12%. Most of this was started by our need to install security entrances at both schools - that was in 2017. The high school still doesn't have a security entrance. 3. I want to believe that maybe we have people's attention now. Although, it didn't seem anyone was interested in filling this open seat. That is the main reason that I am running as a write-in. I have had some experience ini working as an elected volunteer. I am trying to be part of the process, not part of the problem.
