A Halloween event — Stall-O-Treat — at Burke's Island Farm, Route 27, Boothbay on Saturday, Oct. 24 drew over 100 kids and adults as the buildings, horses, dogs, stalls and riding arena were decorated for the occasion.

Candy, grilled burgers, chips and trinkets were handed out to attendees and kids enjoyed stopping at the stalls to greet the horses dressed as Batman, Robin, Dolly Parton, Barbie, Lightning McQueen and a couple of horses with a hanging doughnut and hamburger. The faux Kissing Booth with a couple of horses was one popular stop.

The farm may do something for Christmas.
