Senior Tatum French led the Seahawks with 26 points as the 2025-2026 Boothbay Region High School girls basketball team opened the season with a 54-33 win at Lisbon Thursday, Dec. 4.

Leading 20-6 at halftime, the Seahawks poured it on in the third quarter, taking a 21-point lead (36-17) into the final eight minutes.

Other top scorers for Boothbay were Aryana Gray with nine, Lilly Brown with eight and Lilly Cowing with six.

Hannah Perron led the Greyhounds with 16 points, followed by Emiley Long with six.

The Seahawks will open the home portion of their schedule on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. against the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers.
