Re: Old Guys Rule
Dear Editor:
Before I find that first dead mouse and clear some cobwebs as we open up for another summer season, I grabbed a copy of the Boothbay Register. and know I may more agree to disagree in my must read of Joe's Journal!
First a question, is there a new "tag team" at the Boothbay Register, with frequent letters to the editor from DEM diehard Bill Hammond and Joe with Joe's Journal?
Joe's Journal summed it up well: "We survived" the Biden presidency (and in my view Biden being the worst president in my 70-plus years lifetime!).
The list of Biden failures (millions in over our borders illegally, the strategic and utter failure in our withdrawal from Afghanistan, the abuses and partisanship by the FBI and DOJ) and abuse in power for personal and family gain are too long to list here.
Biden was simply not mentally fit to be president. Most of the media and the DEMS were all complicit. Retaining power mattered far more than did any concern for us, the American people.
Joe's cites JFK and FDR (physical “cover-ups”) and Woodrow Wilson in apples to oranges half comparisons in implying Biden "OK" being not there?
Maybe a stretch at best comparing Wilson -- although Wilson a far more superior intellect over Biden at Biden's best -- (maybe compare Biden only after Wilson's stroke) and maybe Joe, I could agree, Biden and Woodrow Wilson likely having two strong intelligent First Ladies for a brief time in command. But, today’s presidency, trusting Biden or his Auto Pen shadow to be competent with the nuclear codes!
Joe, I will agree that President Trump can verbally "step into it" and I agree with you Joe, Trump remarking in poor humor (or worse?) about Canada as a potential 51st state is beyond insulting to us and our great Canadian neighbors!
But, credit Trump for being bold in facing our national debt (debatable in Congress the proposed Big Beautiful Bill). Credit Trump for securing our border! Credit Trump for condemning and taking real action against antisemitism!
Joe, keep scribbling -- but stay on the fair and balance beam -- as I hope to as well!
