Mark your calendars and join Cape Newagen Farm on Southport for a special free Holiday Open Farm Day, a festive celebration for the whole family on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meet and chat with local farmers, Barters Island Bees and Southport Lavender, who will join the celebration bringing their handcrafted goods for sale. The farm will have their favorite alpaca socks, handmade body butters and locally grown yarns for sale, as well as knitted hats from Vito, Sunny and Tiny. Meet the new baby alpacas, Apollo, Persey and Lola. Visit with their sheep, and chickens. Shop locally made gifts perfect for the season. Warm refreshments will be provided.

In the spirit of giving, during the beginning of this holiday season, Mike and Anne encourage attendees to bring a canned item or donation to support our local food bank. Ten percent of all the alpaca farm sales both in person and online during this event will be donated to the Boothbay Region Food Pantry.
