Lower taxes by voting Republican
Dear Editor:
Early voting has started and will end on Oct. 29. Mail in your ballot no later than Oct. 27.
Every voter should be fed up with high property taxes, high taxes on electric bills, new payroll tax on Maine workers, high tax on meals, high income tax, and a repeal of Maine’s property tax freeze program for seniors. All of these tax burdens were brought to you by Troy Jackson when he was in the State Legislature for 22 years. Now Jackson is campaigning that he is going to fight for you in Washington to lower your taxes. Sounds like he is talking out of both sides of his mouth. Every voter should be concerned.
Susan Collins has proven to bring funding to help Mainers in so many ways. Being the chair of the Approbation’s Committee puts Maine in the driver’s seat for funding. She has secured over $190 million in federal funding economic development, rural infrastructure, securing millions of dollars every year for job training programs, community college, continuing education, and career support for workers all across Maine, $1.5 billion in federal spending from Aroostook to York County to help create jobs, improve public safety, expand health care access and strengthen Maine communities, and Susan has helped Veterans in so many ways.
Troy Jackson is not the answer to Maine’ problems. Along with the Democrats he is part of the problem.
To return Maine to the way life should be. Vote for Susan Collins and all other Republicans on the ballot.
