Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 summonses
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 221 calls for service for the period of March 31 and April 7. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,273 calls for service.
Summonses
Isaac V. Siegfried, 45, of Jefferson was issued a summons April 4 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – Prior, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Karl O. Hinck, 44, of Damariscotta was issued a summons April 6 for Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30+ MPH Over the Speed Limit, on State Route 129, South Bristol, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
John Brown, 67, of Newcastle was issued a summons April 6 for Criminal Trespass, on Mills Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Accident
On April 2, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Samantha J. Randall, 29, of Portland. Ms. Randall was operating her 2001 Mack RD688S truck southbound when she advised her vehicle began to hop back and forth. As a result, she left the roadway on the right side, struck a utility pole and then became disabled in the ditch. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
