June L. Warner
June Longfellow Warner, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2026. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25 in the Bishop Gadsden Chapel at 11 a.m. in Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
June was born Jan. 31, 1938 in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of the late Sam Longfellow and Mabel Remler Longfellow. After high school, June attended Northwestern University, graduating in 1960 and then worked as a speech therapist in New York City before marrying David Warlick Warner on Aug. 15, 1964 in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
They traveled the world together and lived in New York, N.Y., Nassau, Bahamas and Geneva, Switzerland before returning to the United States and settling in Charleston, S.C. and spending summers in Southport, Maine.
June loved the outdoors, the church, her beloved dogs, her gardens, literature and music. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Dressel, Daniel Warner and Derek Warner, and six grandchildren, Catherine Dressel, David Dressel, Mason Warner, Leila Warner, Jackson Warner and Olivia Warner.
