    The Class of 2026 was honored June 12 with the car parade. The 43 graduates rode through Boothbay Harbor in cars, jeeps, trucks and fire trucks and on a Harley-Davidson;  all vehicles except the motorcycle were adorned with balloons, signs and streaming stars.

    The parade was led by a Boothbay Harbor Police Department car. Its siren and those of the fire trucks announced the approach of the graduates.

    Some vehicles carried the student's "Bubblehead image, attached to  hand-held signs, while other Bubbleheads were along the parade route, being waved by their families on the sidelines.

    Family, friends, neighbors and some out-of-towners smiled, waved, applauded and cheered as the members of the Class of 2026 rode by.
