Historic Alna, a 501(c)(3) organization created to support the maintenance, preservation, restoration and use of historic sites in Alna, will host a performance by the Jamie Saft Trio at Alna's 1789 Meetinghouse on Saturday, June 6, at 3 p.m.

For this performance, Saft will be joined by Jesse Heasly on acoustic bass and John Mettam on drums.
"It is an extraordinary privilege to host a musician of Jamie Saft's stature in the village he calls home," said Ed Pentaleri. "Alna's 1789 Meetinghouse is the best preserved of Maine's few surviving 18th-century meetinghouses, and an afternoon of live jazz is a modern use for a historic space built to serve its community."
