Please join us at 120 Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor on March 19 between 4 and 6 p.m. to learn more about the rich history of the Boothbay region and Sample’s Shipyard. Guests will be invited to tour the workshops and meet some of the staff within this historic shipyard. General Manager Dennis Gunderson will speak at 5 p.m. in the historical exhibition area, sharing inside knowledge of future projects that will take place, keeping the Sample’s Shipyard tradition alive. Volunteers from the Boothbay Region Historical Society will be on hand to welcome guests and share information about the Society. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring along your family and friends in support of this historic shipyard within our community.  

This event is free to the public; no registration is required. Snow date is March 10. Donations are welcome as proceeds from this event will support the Boothbay Region Historical Society Senior Scholarship Award.
