Fire Prevention Day at Edgecomb Eddy School
As part of Fire Prevention Month, the EFD visited Edgecomb Eddy School on Oct. 17 with our mascot Sparky, the fire dog. Our firefighters demonstrated many of our fire fighting tools and equipment and explained the importance of fire safety and prevention. The students were able to have a “hands on” experience on our trucks and learned a lot about what it is like to be a firefighter.
The Department meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the fire station. Anyone interested in learning more about the department is welcome to attend.
