Drive-thru flu clinics scheduled
MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital will offer drive-thru flu clinics at all of its primary care practices throughout October. The clinics, which are open to the public, will offer both the standard-dose flu shot and the high-dose. COVID vaccines will not be available at the drive-thru clinics. All ages are welcome.
Clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following days and locations:
-
MaineHealth Primary Care Damariscotta, 24 Miles Center Way
-
Saturday, Oct. 17, 24 and 31
-
MaineHealth Primary Care Boothbay Harbor, 19 St. Andrews Lane
-

-

-
MaineHealth Primary Care Waldoboro, 126 Depot St.

The drive-thru flu clinics are user friendly, and no appointments are needed. However, wearing a short-sleeved shirt or something that allows for easy exposure of your upper arm is preferred.
Most insurances are accepted, and those with insurance should be sure to bring their insurance card. Those without a card or insurance can still be vaccinated and will be billed.
MaineHealth recommends an annual flu shot for everyone age six months and older— especially people who are at greater risk for serious complications from the flu. For more information about flu and the flu vaccine, please visit mainehealth.org/flu.
