CRC Fuel Fund opens Nov. 1
The Community Resource Council (CRC) Fuel Fund will open Sunday, Nov. 1 to provide heating assistance to residents in need.
Available to residents of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Southport, and Edgecomb, the CRC Fuel Fund and Woodchucks Program aim to ensure everyone in our community stays warm this winter. Thanks to the generosity of local donors, we offer heating assistance for oil, propane, and K-1 fuel. For those who rely on wood heat, the Woodchucks Program provides dry, seasoned firewood, split and delivered by our dedicated volunteers.
Hannah Corkum, the CRC Community Navigator, manages the application process for both programs and can also assist with applying for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). She will guide you through the application process to quickly determine your eligibility.
Hannah is available for heating assistance appointments Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can reach her by phone at 207-350-1743 or by email at hannah.corkum@crcboothbay.org.
Please don't wait—contact Hannah today to schedule an appointment.
