Community Meet and Greet Planned for Charlotte Nutt and Senator Cameron Reny at Glidden Point May 17
Community members from across the Boothbay peninsula and neighboring towns are invited to gather on Sunday, May 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. for an afternoon waterfront meet and greet with Charlotte Nutt, candidate for Maine House District 48, and Cameron Reny, who is seeking reelection to the Maine Senate.
The event will be held at Glidden Point Oyster Farms and is open to all residents interested in meeting the candidates, asking questions, sharing concerns, and enjoying an afternoon of conversation with neighbors. House District 48 includes Edgecomb, Boothbay Harbor, South Bristol, Southport, and Westport Island, and organizers say the gathering is intended to provide a relaxed and welcoming setting where local voters can engage directly with those seeking to represent them in Augusta.
Guests are encouraged to stop by, bring their questions, and take part in thoughtful discussion about the issues impacting Midcoast communities, coastal families, working waterfronts, and Maine’s future. In addition to conversation and community engagement, attendees will enjoy a raw bar, food truck offerings, and beverages while taking in the scenic waterfront setting.
“This event is about bringing neighbors together,” organizers said. “It is a chance to connect, listen, ask questions, and have meaningful conversations about our communities and where we go from here.” The public is warmly invited to attend.
