On Sept. 26, 2025 Christina K. Main of Lisbon, known as Katie to her family and friends, and the love of my life passed away at the AndwellHospice House in Auburn.

Katie was born in Millington,Tennessee to Duane and Donna Mellecker. Katie moved up and down the east coast, depending on where her dad was deployed from, while serving in the U.S. Navy. Katie called Maine home and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1988. She attended college in Portland and graduated with an associate's degree in accounting. Not long after she was employed in retail sales at Porteous in Brunswick. In 1994 Katie met and married George O. Main III and they started their new life together in Wiscasset. Not long after Katie switched careers and worked for several years at the First National Bank of Damariscotta. After taking a year off, Katie took on a new career at Bowdoin College and worked there until her retirement in July of this year.

In her spare time Katie enjoyed crafting and knitting and spending time with her family and her beloved cats.

Katie was predeceased by both her father and mother.  

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, George; her sister, Jenny Labbe, her husband Tim, and her two nephews Keegan and Anderson, who she loved dearly. She is also survived by her uncle James Benner. She is also survived by a niece Jessica Ruel and her brother Cory Copp. 

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Androscoggin Humane Society.
