The Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF) is delighted to announce a Call for Artists for its inaugural floral-themed exhibit, “Flower Show.” This highly anticipated exhibition invites Maine artists to submit their unique and imaginative interpretations of the floral theme to bring color and vitality to an otherwise bleak season.

“Flower Show” is open to all Maine-based artists working in a wide range of media. We encourage submissions that span the creative spectrum—from representative and traditional to abstract and conceptual. All media, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, ceramics, and digital art, are welcome.

The exhibition will be on view from March 26 to April 30 at the BRAF Gallery, located at 1 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.

Submission guidelines:

● Artists may submit up to two (2) pieces of work.

● In-Person Drop-off Dates:

○ Monday, March 23: 10:00 a.m. -  5 p.m.

○ Tuesday, March 24: 9 a.m. - noon

● Submission Fee (per piece): $10 for members ($20 for 2); $15 for non-members ($30 for 2).

Exhibition Schedule:

● Opening Reception: Saturday, April 4 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
